life's little victories
#346: slept through bio. upon returning to my dorm at 4, got an email apologizing for the "last minute cancellation of this morning's bio class." i'm psychic or something.
classes were uneventful.. i need to study me some chem. i think my grasp of the information is slipping a bit.
chem lab involved approximately 30 minutes of actual work plus 2 hours of sitting around.
spent the day helping jenna with her (rather late) earth-house app (and by helping, i mostly mean distracting), and then sitting in her room chatting about nothing and occasionally fiddling with the guitar.
j: what's your dad's name?
me: i don't know
j: no, seriously, what's his name?
me: he doesn't have one ok? he was born without a name! it's a terrible disorder.
i need to write 5-minutes worth of spoken french for tomorrow.
my prof sucks. our final grade is a group project tv-esque newsreport (see: performing arts in 8th grade). but she's TAPING it. there's no need for that. it's not as though i will watch this later with fond memories. i do not want my moving image forever preserved against my will in some stranger's vcr for their personal enjoyment. am i in kindergarten? it's totally uncalled for.
