i just spent twenty minutes watching an amoeba squish around my microscope like a unicellular lava lamp before seeing it INGEST A FLAGELLATE PROTOZOA. i'm so excited! wickedcool like no other.
god, i'm a nerd.
so no classes were canceled, b/c the snow was less than expected, but the day zipped by, so no big deal. wmst was really refreshing. it was (sorry Ls) probably the first time i've ever attended a class prepared on all the assigned readings. i'm a big fan of dialog and discussion, and things that aren't reminiscent of middle/upper school (*cough* chemistry! *cough* "do you guys know what the greenhouse affect is? have you talked about that?" ::twitches::).
at lunch, i totally non-sketchily (shoved in my too-small backpack w/ my coat draped over it) borrowed a tray for sledding purposes. bwaha! i'm gonna paint lightening bolts and racing stripes on it, and thus, win the game of life.
last night i had the most bizarre dream wherein i hooked up w/ toria, and it got moderately serious, at which point she became joe heidler (sans condom). obviously, i flipped out, and couldn't understand why i'd ever so much as touch joe again, especially as he looked a little like zack. creepy shit, let us never speak of it again.
why is my phone not working at all? ::slams down receiver, gets hands tangled in the cord, thrashes angrily, knocks every earthly belonging off the shelf:: must call business office so i can finally buy all my bookz.
ok.. time to go find a phone
