“He tripped over a rock,” Sheppard whines, the heel of his hand grinding into his eyes. Cam snorts beside him.
“My first day at the SGC I got lost on Dakara for a half an hour trying to look for the gate,” Cam tells him. John gives him a sidelong look.
“It’s a comfort knowing you’re the leader of the front line team,” Sheppard deadpans. Cam claps a hand to John’s shoulder and laughs.
“You know I get that a lot.” John smirks and leans into the touch, dropping his head to Cam’s shoulder and groaning dramatically.
“I’m stuck Earth side until his ankle heals. It’s been three days,” John complains, he tilts his head up to stare at the side of Cam’s face.
“Wow!” Cam gasps sarcastically.
“I’ve actually had time to do paperwork,” John tells him. Cam clamps a hand to his mouth in shock. “Real paperwork, you know you don’t think about all things you’re gonna miss, but tablets are really spectacular. I have injuries!” John shouts, holding up his index finger in front of Cam’s face. There’s a small paper cut on the tip.
“You getting’ compensation for that?” Cam teases, he grabs John’s hand and draws the finger close enough to press a light kiss to the small cut.
“I’m bored Cam, I haven’t gotten to heroically save the day in weeks,” John says.
“Hey! You’re keeping me entertained, which keeps me sane, which helps save Earth from-“
“What? Your poor directional skills?”
“Cute.”
“You always thought so.” Cam pushes John off him, pretending to scowl.
“C’mon,” Cam says and he rips a piece of USAF stationary off the pad on his desk in front of him and crumples it up into a ball. The door to the small office is closed and a toy basketball net is hung from the back.
“He shoots!”
“He doesn’t score!” Sheppard laughs, when Cam’s first shot bounces off the rim and into the wastebasket beside the door.
“Alright, but you’re only punishing yourself.” John smirks and takes the next shot, grinning when the wad of paper swishes through the net.
After the floor in front of the door is littered with paper Cam grins. “You know we could make this more interesting,” he says. John’s eyebrow arches up with interest.
Cam pulls the pad of paper towards him and writes something down on it. John leans forward to read it blowjob; couch.
“I make it. You do it.” John just smirks and watches as Cam prepares for the shot. His eyes narrowing in concentration, his arms tense.
“Why wait?” John asks, and he pops the button on Cam’s BDUs. Cam’s head snaps back to look over at John. John’s hand is suddenly in his own lap, his expression neutral as he stares at the door.
“Yes!” Cam says, low, and he chucks the useless paper at the door. John’s lip twitches up and his eyes widen a fraction and Cam turns.
“General!” Cam shouts, jumping out of his seat, the paper bounces off Landry’s forehead and onto the floor. Sam is standing behind him, her hand clamped over her mouth.
“Something wrong with your uniform Colonel?” Landry asks, his voice tight. Cam glances at the open button on his pants, and pulls his shirt down to cover it hastily. He doesn’t know what to do with his hands, they flail, he clamps his right hand over his heart and quickly removes it, letting his arms fall to his side awkwardly.
“Uh…no sir.”
“Good. Colonel Sheppard you’re wanted in the conference room, ten minutes.”
“Yes sir,” Sheppard nods, straightening. Landry closes his eyes and sighs heavily.
“Having fun?” Sam teases, ducking her head into the office. John grins at her,
“Yes.”
“I hate you so hard Sheppard.”
“I can see that,” John smirks, flicking a gaze to Cam’s crotch.
“Go to hell.”
“You know I really thought you were about to start reciting the pledge of allegiance,” John laughs.
Cam shuts the office door in his face.
