chesnuts roasting on a ghetto ass gas stove
so my roommates decided to have chestnuts tonight. kim's reaction: "i have a new respect for squirrels." apparently theyre very tough to eat. you have to take off the outside shell first in order to get to the "paper/pototoe" tasting center. haha. we now know y squirrels have rest and y theyre not fat unless theyre from philly u. and from this event we got to talking about squirrels. lauren has revealed that she loves flying squirrels. we also noticed that they dont have squirrels here like in the u.s. instead they have cats.
i am making a pattern for a purse right now. it's so freakin ghetto looking. my pieces of tracing paper were too small so i had to tape pieces together with duct tape. its really great looking. haha.
i went to st.peters and the vatican again today with jess. the damn museum isnt open on the weekends. the vatican is a stupid country. we also went to the catacombs. it was cool. just walking thru and imagining christians burying people there and then later during the persectution holding mass in them. really religious experience for me i guess. oh well.
