What is office protocol for letting your coworkers know that your birthday is coming up? Usually we have it on the calendar (which I update and am probably the only one who looks at on any regular basis), or someone will just bring up about a fellow coworker's birthday if they know them more personally.
Last year, I thought I had mentioned it in passing to a few people, but no one did anything. My birthday sucked so much last year, that I didn't really care nor felt like celebrating anything. This year .. I haven't decided if I care or not. I just want to hang out with my friends this weekend, thats all I've really decided.
So yeah, Monday is my birthday. Have a drink with me, wherever you happen to be.
xo
*EDIT*
so apparently the answer is being friends with coworkers on myspace, which then reminds them of the date ... as well as having a roommate that calls your boss to remind him :)
Thanks.
And thanks to those that came out to celebrate or sent their love. You guys fucking rock.
