Life Update
i actually thought of updating this last night, and an IM from Sassy a few minutes ago convinced me to do so, even though I think he and Imal will be the only ones to read it ... I am going to cheat a little bit though, as I just sent off a mass email to family and such, so i'll just post that here .. that should tell people whats going on ... also let me know if you want to be included in future emails like it, i'm gonna try to keep people updated on me and hope you all do the same. so here it is-
Hey all-
Well I made it to LA. My boyfriend Elliot and I conquered over 4000 miles over a eight day span, stopping to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland (amazing), my cousin John in Wyoming (it had been way too long), the Portland Oregon gang (where my uncle bought Elliot an '87 Ford Taurus for a dollar off a family friend, and it made it down the coast just fine), Elliot's Aunt and Uncle in San Francisco (with their twin two year old daughters, who were hilarious), and finally to Los Angeles a day early planning on having a day off .. but instead just starting work the next morning. For those of you who haven't heard, I'm working for the same people I had interned for before, on all new projects, primarily with Netflix and Comedy
Central. I'd tell you more details, but things are changing every day. If there's one thing I've learned about the film and TV business it is that nothing is final until the money is actually in front of us.
I also was able to find a place to live for the summer, although again, plans changed, and I am now living with one other female in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment right in Hollywood. It's in a great apartment complex, with garage parking, a rooftop pool and hot tub, as well as laundry and a gym right down the hall. It's great for now, but I am only staying for a few months before some other friends move out to this coast and I get an actual lease with them.
Now you all have my email, so hope to hear from you all soon. i'll always except presents and snail mail as well, the easiest place to send it is to my office, at (msg me for the address, I'm sketched out posting it here) I'll try to keep you all updated frequently, hope to hear from you too!
