best birthday ever
happy birthday to me:)
friday was definitely well spent. liying and gab made me promie them that i would turn up for school, and so i did.
bryan woke me up with his phonecall at 6.42am, asking me which bus i'm taking so that he can accompany me. i was quite surprised since he always catch the earlier bus. being the nice girl i am, i got the cab driver to pick him up on my way to school. hahaha i knew something was up when bryan asked me to go to the canteen. still, i refused to play along since i was quite tired. so we went to the lockers instead. bryan was so funny! he kept asking me silly questions; obviously he was playing for time for my classmates at the parade square. when we were about to leave for the parade square, i questioned him straight in the face, "you're just playing for time right?" hahaha, bryan just gave a sheepish grin. his nervousness was so obvious that i couldn't help laughing out loud=p
gosh breakktime was the highlight of the day i tell you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! hahaha oh my goodness! oh my goodness! oh my goodness!
i knew something was up when liying attempted to manoevre me from left to right side of the canteen bench. the first thought that came to my mind was the arrival of a birthday cake. but lo and behold, it wasn't! (ohmygoodness!) somehow i wasn't in the best of moods, so when someone tapped me on the shoulder i thought it was bryan since he has the habit of doing that. as i was expecting bryan, i turned and said "wad?" very grouchily.
(at this point of time, my classmates were all shocked at my reaction. apparently all of them were stunned beyond words since they didn't expect me to sound so hostile. well..... bryan lor! no more tapping of shoulders! =p)
what caught my eye was the flower. instinctively i thanked that person as i assumed that it's one of my classmates or at least someone that i know. a moment later when i looked up, guess who was holding on to the flower? omg omg omg it's my eyecandy!
-collective gasp-
my eyes widened and jaws literally dropped. (vern was busily snapping photos at the side!) i couldn't believe my eyes i tell you.pure astonishment was written on all over my face. it's the second time we were at such close proximity. (the first was when i attempted to consult him for maths!) if it was a scene from some taiwenese drama, i think it's the moment where i am suppose to faint=p
"you're melissa right?"
"um yah."
-shakes hands- "happy birthday..."
ohmygoodness. yes he shook my right hand.
then the ingenious gabrielle suggested the best thing ever.
"why don't you all take a photo?"
i almost died and went to heaven. okay that's an overstatement but you get the point. ironically he was receptive to the idea while i was quite reluctant to do so. the thought of it is so weird! he prolly thinks that i have a crush on him or something! while vern was fiddling with the camera, he said "let's sit down lah.."
so we sat, with my classmates surrounding us. chuckling, i guess. all this while i kept grinning like a lovestruck twit. suddenly, i was robbed of the power of speech! in retrospect, it's actually quite humiliating right! shite.
"today is your birthday arh?"
"no, actually it's tomorrow."
"oh, happy birthday."
finally, vern was done. omg so awkward please. we weren't sitting on the same bench and ireally look like a fool. the photos didn't turn out that pretty since i was laughing too hard. i bet my face went beetroot red or something. boo:( but that's not the point! after wishing me a happy birthday for one last time, he went back to the computer lab to sleep.
and so, i was smiling and smiling and smiling for the rest of the day:):):)
"may the power of jason be with you!" gab wrote that before the math test. hahahaha i wonder if it works.

we saved a slice for eyecandy but he didn't eat it because of his tournament later. haha by the way, they won!
omg chanel shrieked his name so loudly! i wished that i could disappear there and then. me, being super shy, was not bold enough to ask him over because the rest of the basketballers were there too. my pretty girlfriend, chanel spared me the embarrassment from going over. it doesn't really matter whether he ate the cake or not. hahahaha cos he wished me a happy birthday!

aaron told me that he wished jason good luck, on behalf of me!
"melissa wish you all good luck for the match later.."
and he got aaron to wish me a happy birthday again too! xD
gab got him and haohao to write their birthday wishes on the board of my ugly photos! gab said his mouth turned upwards when he saw those ugly photos of me:( so embarrassing!

the night was spent at cheryl's house! :) :) :) icecream/wrestling/photoring/tickling/talking/sleeping.
i like her dogs!:)
