I love it when payday comes early!
So, I managed to 'earn' £36.44 for the month. That, with my other savings has already brought me to a total of £270.23 to go towards paying off some debt. I'm feeling rather pleased with myself.
In other news, this weekend was pretty rocking. Birmingham Blitz Dames had a bout yesterday against the Halifax Hot Wheels. OMG. Can you say CLOSE? Throughout the ENTIRE match, the leads were consistently changing. At times, there was one point between the two teams! What made it even more agonizing for me, was that I was NSO-ing (None Skating Official, I was score tracking) so I was suppose to be impartial! Do you know how hard that is when you are watching quite simply THE most exciting match you have ever seen?! It's near impossible! I was hiding my face behind my clipboard, biting my nails and dancing with excitement. The final score was 150 Blitz Dames, 146 to Hot Wheels. Very exciting, very close. I'm even more inspired and determined to get onto team B, even if I don't really have the skills JUST yet.
