My experience at an extra agency and with Scientology...i know weird combo...

So today i went to Burbank with my roomie to apply for this extra agency. Which went well and it was a lot of fun...i actually met a producer which is friggen rock! And i also met this guy that was born in Gambia, Africa and now lives here in the US. Cool huh? So Angela and i finish up and go outside. She goes out first and gets stopped by this group of 2 girls and 1 guy. I however was stopped by my new African friend Yusapha. So Yusaph and i exchange numbers and i just hear Angela talking to this group of people and that she mentions my name and the fact that we're roommates and such, and they all pretty much give me a look and smile. The funny thing about this is that Yusapha had told me about them and apparantly their a young group of scientologists. They were trying to get you to go to the "church of scientology" and take some sort of acting graph test where they tell you the area's of your life you need to work on to get to that point. So yeah. I was telling Angela it was up to her if we should go or not since i'm driving. ALTHOUGH i said it in such a way where she should've known that i didn't want to go. So we were about to head there and then she changes her mind and decides to call the guy ERIC that's in charge of the whole thing supposidly and then she informs him that we just passed the exit and he had said we can just turn around and do the character profiling thing, and schedule an appointment to get back with him. So we did turn around...and at this point i'm just annoyed but going through with it anyways. And we get "lost" so we just turned around and came home. With this whole thing though i was just offended at the fact that Angela was willing to go to some stupid Scientology thing. I mean the whole group of people were nice and all, but i'm sorry and i do apologize if any of you are scientologists and i offend you,...but i believe GOD created the world not some stupid Alien life form...yeah it's a load of shit. And Angela knows the way that i think and my belief system and she had the gull to actually want to go. Now i'm not saying that i'm unopen to hear out my friends and their beliefs if they do differ from mine. But when they want you to sign up and take classes to conform to their idiocyntric ways...uh uh. Sorry but no. But then APPARANTLY Angela said she didn't realize that it was a Scientology thing. Which i also think is crap. She's good at lying so this wouldn't be hard for her to do...that and she's and idiot. I mean that nicely. Anyhow that's my experience today...

Does anyone else feel that LJ is trying to more and more turn into Myspace? Anyone? Bueller...Bueller?
