Hair for Hope 2008
Hair for Hope 2008 is back for the 5th time running!
Come 6 July 2008 (Sunday) 12 to 7pm, this symbolic hair-shaving event will be held once again at Velocity@Novena Square.
Hair for Hope is a symbolic event, whereby members of the public shave bald to show their support for children with cancer!
Hair for Hope 2007 recorded a total of 467 volunteer-shavees, of which 131 were female shavees, bravely shed their locks to send the message of hope and love to our children. With the act of each volunteer stepping forward to shave their head, it represents the understanding by an individual of the ordeals which a child with cancer is subjected to.
Total income generated from HfH 2007 is $455,577.79, and incurred expenses at $22,108.45. In all, the nett donation for HfH 2007 amounted to $433,469.34. Thanks to all of you who have supported generously!
Online registration is now offically open with 450 online registration slots available.
Registration will close on 6 June 2008 or earlier when slots are fully taken up.
