12 of 12: May, Non-Eureka Edition

May 13, 2011 01:25

This 12 of 12 was very poignant for me. A year ago today was a great day, in Eureka. Erik was just getting into 12 of 12, too. In fact this was his last LJ entry.

This year at least there were friends and cats. As always 12 of 12 cred goes to Chad Darnell.

12:30 pm, Oakland: Just missed the "shining morning" thing.

1:46 pm, Oakland: I did treat myself to breakfast/lunch out, though. (Here we have the view from my parking space! In lovely Rockridge!)

1:49 pm, Oakland: Breakfast at the Rockridge Cafe is always yummy.

2:54 pm, Berkeley: Today was my grief counseling appointment.

4:24 pm, Berkeley: I don't think I'd noticed this sign outside until today! (On the dumpster...)

6:13 pm, Emeryville: Hanging out at Peet's. Here, looking for a new car to replace my beloved and totaled Prius.

7:46 pm, San Francisco: Somehow, we have a lot of parking views today. This is the view from my hard-won parking place on Steiner St. at Union St. I was parked there to . . .

8:19 pm, San Francisco: Have dinner at Betelnut with two Mikes. (We used to say the collective nouns for Mikes was a murder, but I don't know if just two counts as a murder of Mikes.)

11:50 pm, San Francisco: Coming home on the Bay Bridge.

12:11 am, Oakland: The usually omitted First View of Lucy when you get home

12:12 am, Oakland: Shining evening face (and ivy)

12:20 am, Oakland: Cozy Lucy at last.
