Head is full of cats and rocking chairs...

So I'm nervous. Feel like a kid the night before the first day of school. Sigh. I got the job (yay!), had my last few weeks of freedom (boo!) and now I start tomorrow. Man, oh man. The phrase 'You can dooo iiiit!' with a Mexican accent keeps floating through my brain. I think it's from a movie somewhere. Ergh. I wish I had the Rocky theme song so I could listen to it on my way to work. LOL. How pathetic am I?

Anyway... heard about the job on a Friday after spending the day with my friends and her two kids, one of which had a cold. Accepted job and was told to come in in two weeks. Next day, came down with cold that lasted about a week and a half. Argh!

Then, you know what? Middle of this week, I get a plot bunny in my head that won't go away and I start writing again. Haven't written a thing for over three months - get a job and now, NOW I get the writing bug again. WTF? Some kind of cosmic joke, I swear.

This post seems rather disjointed - a lot like my brain right now. Frazzled, that's a good word for what I'm feeling. Wound up. Jeez peas, Louise. Add to that the fact that someone is PLAYING A TRUMPET in our complex at 10:30 on a SUNDAY NIGHT. Kill me now, I'll never wake up on time tomorrow.

Blergh.....

"You can DO it!"

writing process, rl
