The Long Road Home...
Well this is it - wish us luck. We're going back north this week where hubby has an interview (he was laid off not too long ago) for a good position in my home town. Even if he doesn't get it - we'll probably move back north somewhere. His job was the only thing keeping us here.
Strange. I always knew I wanted to move back to Northern California, just never thought I'd move back to my little home town. Full of crazy crunchy-munchy hippies (gotta love 'em!) and the land of PC-ness. But you know, after living in LA for over 8 years, that sounds really refreshing. ;)
So there's a lot riding on this interview. Poor hubby. Of course, if he gets it - it will mean that I am then unemployed. Sigh. Ah well.
So tonight I pack and tomorrow we're off. It will be nice having a week off work. We'll use the time to look into apartments if the interview goes well. If not . . . we'll be looking into other jobs up north and . . . apartments. ;)
Big change coming soon one way or the other . . . yeee freakin' ha!
