(no subject)
Have been enjoying my vacation . . . I've spent much of it at the library. ;) I was surprised to see just how crowded it is during the week days. Almost all the tables were filled with folks on laptops. I settled in with my own laptop, my water bottle and my hp obsession and just typed away. It was nice to have a quiet place to write without distractions. I will definitely be going again next week.
I've also rented quite a few English mysteries on DVD. Inspector Alleyn is a new favorite. You know, the actor looked so familiar to me, until I realized that it wasn't the fact that I recognized the actor himself - but that he looks so very much like Jason Isaacs.

See what I mean? Of course, in the Alleyn series, Malahide is even younger so the resemblance is even more uncanny. He looks like him enough to be his father, I think. Er, is now the time to ask if he is his father? ;)
Anyway, great series based on the books by Ngaio Marsh (how does one pronounce 'Ngaio' anyway? 'Nay-oh'? 'N-aye-oh'? I dunn-no.) XD
