Writing again, at long last

So, I finished a little ficlet earlier today for an entry in the Q&B Holidays contest. It felt soooo good to be writing again! One thing I realized, though, is that I seriously need a Beta reader. How many times can you reread the same piece of work, looking for typos and misspellings? Not to mention - I could really use someone's input into how this or that actually works. You know, after tweaking something 80 or 90 times, one tends to lose objectivity! XD

Once the contest is officially over, I'll post it here.
