So Bart, Heidi and I just got back from the photo field trip. We left at 10:00 to go to to the SF MOMA. We had a jolly good time finding out where to meet the rest of the people. So we split off into groups of 10 or so, each accompanied by a guide. Our guide was funky. He was old and losing his hearing. And he kept asking us what the paintings or portraits made us feel. Uh huh...
So we walked around for awhile after he let us go. There are some WEIRD fucking things in there. When we left, we had to wait 45 minutes so someone who rode in Bart's car on the way there could get a ride with someone else. Seriously... the other people were fucking retarded whores. Literally.
So we went to the Metreon to eat. Bart had a mad steak sandwich. Heidi had a kiddie cheese pizza. I had half of a roasted chicken, marinated in honey dijon sauce and served with roasted potatoes. Oh lord, it was good. After that we sat around thinking about what to do. I didn't feel like ice skating, and Bart didn't want to see a movie. Somehow we wandered upstairs into the arcade, because virtual bowling sounded cool. Except it wasn't too special. I would rather have gone normal bowling. Bart and Heidi each got a card with 1300 or so points on it, and I got one with 2900 or something. They played some DDR, and frankly sucked. I hopped in Heidi's place and got sucked too, just a lot less. I think I had double her score... at least...?
We played some mad Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the old school arcade machine. Every time you die and come back to life, your turtle yells, "Cowabunga!!" The machine made beeping noises when you scan your card to get back into the game. To make a long story short, the room was filled with screaming, lots of turtles yelling, and a multitude of beeping, but we beat the shit out of that game. I placed 4th on the machine, with Heidi and Bart trailing in 6th and 8th. Hell yes, we freaking owned that game.
They started playing a game called Ghost Squadron. It involves being a cowboy wielding an assault rifle that can somehow snipe. The guns you used to shoot with were sooooo cool, and we looked like SWAT team men holding them to our shoulder. That kicked some major ass. We gave up on that and started playing a more normal shooting game. Heidi lost interest in that so Bart and I were playing on two separate machines, each using both of the guns available at them. That was ghetto, to say the least.
So we left the arcade, because we had been in there a good 2 hours and our cards were pretty much spent. I had 558 points left, and that was pretty much it between us. All games were 50% off because we were there between 10 and 5 on a weekday. Without that, we would have spent our cards halfway through the Ninja Turtles.
I was thirsty and got a Tropicana Strawberry Melon drink. One of the best things, EVER!!! It was like an orgasm in my mouth, as Craig would say.
That was pretty much it. We played some mind games with Heidi on the way to the car, like taking the elevator to the roof while she took the stairs to the 4th floor, where our car actually was. There was mad traffic, but that gave us time to listen to Bart's "What the Fuck is Up With This Mix?" mix.
Fucking awesome. Heidi, Post anything I left out, because we did so much shit.
I've been having some arguments with my dad because I was supposed to go over to his house this week, but with the help of a third party, he finally decided to respect my choice to stay here. There has just been too much overwhelming stuff going on at his house. He doesn't want me to go to college because he doesn't think I'm ready.
Even with taking that into consideration, my life is so fucking good right now. Prom is on Sunday, we just had a great day, and those eight question thingies started by Jackie made me so happy. I feel so loved by my friends.
