Windows Media Player

Anyone know anything about Windows Media Player?

For some stupid reason, my player won't let me delete or edit anything from the library.  Also, it won't let me add anything new.  Please, can anyone help?

Have you recently downloadeda any updates as whenever I do I always have problems with everything. Just google your problem and you should come up wiyh a solution.

It is frustrating though isn't it?

It's very frustrating. I don't have any updates to download, though, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Nope, no virus. I'm very much up-to-date with all virus protections, and I even run scans on a regular basis.

Relax, I had the same problem with deleting my library; I don't know about adding new songs, though. I got my solution by going to Microsoft.com - and which version of media player are you using?

I'm not sure if it's 11 or 12...it's with Vista so I think it's 11.

I looked around Microsoft.com, thought maybe I missed some updates, but the update packages weren't necesary for my computer (at least that's what the message said when I went to download them).

Well, I played around and played around and played around a bit more, ended up deleting a bunch of files, and everything seems to be working now. Thanks!
