Stuff...
Called my mom for Mother's Day. She informed me that my father had been back in the hospital for his foot again. He's back home now and doing as well as can be expected. Said that she didn't call me as she had posted it on the family website and that she figured that I would have seen it but had noticed that I had not recently been on the site either. I explained that I had messed up my eye so I wasn't on the pc all that much for the majority of the last couple of weeks. As I was talking to her she told me that they had been without power since 730PM as the same storms had blown through there. When I got off the phone with her at around 140AM, they were still sitting in the dark.
Not too much else going on. Went to the gym for the first time in like 3 weeks. Went to eat at the local Chinese food joint. My fortune cookie said "An unexpected visitor will bring you good blessings." Interesting and not sure what it means. Went to the movies and saw Harold and Kumar 2 Escape from Guantanamo Bay. It was pretty funny. Something I needed to feel good about. I was driving home after the movie along 10th Street. I was driving with the windows down and saw this guy walking down the street. I yelled out "haaaaayyyy" and sped off. After I did that I immediately remembered that Geisha and I used to do that all the time and ended up killing my own "high". Gotta love that. Thinking about one thing got to me to thinking about other things and it just went downhill from there. After a little bit I literally shook my head and flushed that stuff out and went home and started watching TV.
After about 2AM i started storming a bit and then after like 430-5AM it was storming really hard. I thought the trees were going to come up out of the ground. I love watching storms. Just not a big fan of the damage that they cause.
