fun times
wow! what a fun weekend! good food, good times, good laughs and good friends! so my older brother got married this weekend. it was so fun and i had a wonderful time. the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was very fun.
i finally met the rest of the wedding party on rehearsal day. i really like them and hope to see them again. i thought one of the bridesmaids was really cute. the in laws are great, too! our very first run through of the rehearsal was a bit long. i had my head up my ass and couldnt figure where i was supposed to go or walk or take the brides mother but at least we were laughing. finally figured it out, genius!
my brother could not get his lines to save his life. he sounded like Elmer Fudd and kept sayin, "My walfullwee wedded wife." then my best friend made an Elmer Fudd crack like, "eh he, eh he, I'm gettin mawwied today." We just knew something was going to go wrong the next day. Sure enough, something did go wrong...
he STILL did not get the line straight. we were trying to keep some shred of our dignity and not laugh. oh! and then... when he went to put the ring on her finger, he put it on the wrong freakin hand! he took her right hand started to slip the ring on. that was it. we just lost it. we were laughing so hard.
we took our pictures and headed over to the reception. the girls did a good job with the decorations. there were white flowers with little lights and candles all over the place. all of the bridesmaids started crying and hugging eachother during the father and daughter dance. they played Butterfly Kisses. it was touching. insert tear here... sniff...
one of my buddies had a flask of vanilla vodka. omg, that stuff is sooo good! the brides father gave each of us a flask of peppermint schnapps. man that stuff burns but is it good. so by 2pm and 2 hours before the ceremony, i was gettin sauced. i was helping to seat our guests and i dont think i put all of them in the right places but who cares.
i dont know who this crazy woman was but she had been drinking way too much. she introduced herself to me and asked if i was with the groom. then she said i was cute. i said thanks and didnt think anything of it. she walked behind me and i thought she had left. the damn woman started feeling me up! she grabbed my ass and ran her hands all over me. i was appalled! she wasnt even attractive. after the initial shock wore off, i told her to get her hands off of me. apparently, she had been acting stupid and some guests had complained. my brother asked me to make them leave. so, i grabbed my buddy and we had to physically remove them from the premises. she screamed bloody murder and said she was going to get us. rrrrright. i just told her to shut up and we threw her into a cab.
always has to be one in the crowd. i got the inquisition from my family because i am officially now the last one to be married. wish they would get off my back about that. all in all, it was an incredible night. had a great time. ive got a whole week off from work and im goin to go play!
