had my cousins wedding reception this evening. it wasnt that bad. the wedding was held overseas so this reception was for the family here. i stuck out like sore thumb and felt so out of place. i didnt look, act or talk like anyone there. i couldnt understand a damn word most people were saying. damn asians...
the parking lot was full of nice cars, imports and stuff like mercedes, lexus and the rice rockets. here i pull up in my big Chevy truck covered with mud. the looks i got were so funny.
the food was interesting, to say the least. i didnt know what half of the stuff was so i just had some shrimp. still kinda got the munchies.
i saw my cousins and a bunch of people from the department. i met a nice guy from Larrys class that said he would support my transfer and maybe speak to the sheriff about me. im not holding my breath on that one. eh, maybe...
saw a little girl thats had a crush on me. she isnt so little now. i barely recognized her. she wouldnt let go of me when she gave me a hug. i think its rather cute and funny.
had a good day with Larry. we went shopping and out to lunch. Larry never wants mexican food so i was surprised when he wanted to go to mexican for lunch. the hostess was really cute. lunch was good but needless to say we are both visiting the porcelin god tonight.
couldnt find an entertainment center that i was looking for. ill have to go back to another store or look online.
the Creed show is coming up and im excited. have to remind Bubba to get a babysitter for that night.
watched little Austin last night. i love being with him. he was so good for me. he woke up crying and came right up to me. stopped crying once he put his head on my shoulder. said he was hungry so i let him pick out what he wanted from the fridge. that boy sure likes strawberry yogurt.
then, he snuggled up on me and we watched a bugs life. he wanted to watch bob the builder, afterwards. we fell asleep during that tape. think i heard L come in but i dont know what time that was.
im planning on getting out of town right after christmas. cant decide if im flying to new england, colorado or go up to the cabin in lake tahoe. i want to see ground zero in new york or look for property in colorado. ill most likely just go up to lake tahoe. ive told L and T about it and id love to have them come with me. we always have a good time up there. the snow is fun to play in and the food... yummy. we take turns cooking but always go to the boomtown buffet. think last time i polished off like 9 lobsters.
my internet broadband is being installed on tuesday. ive been so fed up with slow dial up connections that i finally ordered broadband. got a free cable modem and installation. now i can download songs and finally use my cd burner.
so that was my weekend. im still tired and not really wanting to go back to work...
