I had to leave for somewhere, anywhere this morning because my douche landlords were showing my apartment to someone. I haven't seen any ads anywhere in the normal places nor is there a sign out front so I am curious if he's bringing in illegal aliens or something to stay here for the four months he has.
Anywho, I had the spontaneous idea to go see an early show of 'Iron Man'. Now, I know there are several people who wanted to or would have seen it with me. But, I was afraid spontaneous would turn into "plans" since I was ready to, and needed to, be out the door right then and there.
Details aside, the movie was fucking amazing. I absolutely loved it. I would not consider it a movie I'd watch over and over. It wasn't that kind of movie (to me) but that didn't make it any less awesome. Robert Downey Jr. was great and perfect for the role. The ending, literally the last five seconds of the movie were terrific and after the credits there is a clip with a major cameo and setup for the sequel.
Now I am back home and I really don't know if anyone was here or not. My laptop wasn't stolen and the cats are here so I can stop worrying now.
One lesson I learned from the movie, besides that you need money to do anything in this world, it's that unlike Batman you don't really need to workout and train if you're super smart. You just make a suit that's strong.
