R.I.P.

Not that I would presume to think too many people would care, but if I ever did die suddenly, I would hope and pray that I didn't get a lot of comments on any websites from people who were sorry to see me go. It's such a trend these days for people to turn MySpace pages and blogs into memorials for people. I find it idiotic and creepy ( Read more... )

If there's one thing I've been completely desensitized to is the memorial pages. Check it out and find the miscarriage ones. They're hilarious, considering there are people that design outfits for fetuses, which are then sold to grieving parents and photographed.

It's quite disgusting when you first look at it, since it looks like a pile of hamburger meat in Barbie clothes.

Also, for more laughs, the casket profiles on MySpace can pass some time -- people posing at their family funerals with smiles on their faces and whatnot. Completely trashy. "Hey, grandma died, let's take group pictures!"

I'm still privy to the profiles for people found guilty or featured for stupid/illegal things, especially murder. Their friends will leave comments like "I STILL LUV U & DONT BELEEVE WUT THE NEWS SAYS BOUT U!!! <3 <3 <3 <3."

When I get home I'll look for that one hamburger patty miscarriage. You'll certainly fall in love with it and want to have miscarriages of your own.

I want to have my corpse frozen and immediately sent out and dropped into the ocean where sharks or whatever can eat me. Seems like we waste a lot of good corpse by keeping them in boxes and burying them.

If you're as fat as you used to be, it could be a meal for twenty sharks LOL!!!

I think the leaving of comments is more theraputic for the living then anything else. Although I think it's so tacky when you see people leaving rediculous comments in that "internet speak" that's almost impossible to decipher. I've also noticed there is always at least one asshole who leaves a nasty comment about the person.

When you die, I am going to make a website in your memory full of sparkly fonts and pictures of weeping angels cuddling sad-eyed puppies while "Forever Young" plays in the background.
