Last night, after a delayed trip home on the Red line and a wet walk from Jewel with some groceries I climbed on the couch and watched 'Shattered Glass'. Joey has been insisting I see this movie most of the year and I have never seen it out at Best Buy. So, he just copied it and sent it to me.
It was actually a very compelling movie. I was hooked in the opening monologue and I know that Hayden Christensen actually did a fantastic job acting because his character annoyed me so much. It was intentional whinyness and not the Anakin Skywalker type because of George Lucas's poor writing. I was thoroughly surprised and intend to spend a little time today reading up on Stephen Glass whose story the movie is about. Just looking at his real life photo, he looks like someone that deserves a kick in the face.
Tonight Rockwell asked me to join him for a play downtown called 'The Altar Boyz'. I know nothing about it so we'll see how that goes. Afterward, I fully intend to come home and crash. I cannot wait til sleep in tomorrow. Though I feel like I have one day to squeeze in two weekends worth of shit. I am not in the mood to get on a cross about it right now. Maybe later.
