Sagittarius - Ray Russell

This was another short story that I took far too long to complete. Like the first Russell novella, this one had a slow start but got somewhat interesting at the end. Though, it is part of an anthology book from Penguin called 'Haunted Castles' yet it was set in modern times, and there were no castles or hauntings. I didn't realize the story was written in the mid-twentieth century until almost the end. In fact, I didn't realize Russell was writing in the mid-twentieth. I was under the impression the stories were from the early part of the century.

It was a sort of sequel to 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde'... about the son of the man. Typing together famous serial killers in history to said offspring of Mr. Hyde. The title, though not directly stated within the story, I believe is a reference to the Zodiac killer and the son of Hyde being said killer.

It was an okay read, just not what I expected from the book.
