If I recall correctly, D'Arcy and Billy's first encounter was her yelling at him that he or his music or his music tastes sucked. She swore at him, and he talked to her, they ended up getting along, and he taught her how to play the bass.

PS: I am jealous you got to see Jesus and the Mary Chain circa Psychocandy-era. Must have been great.

PSS: Besides "Spiteface," I really disliked the Marked's sound and material. I find it funny that one of your former bandmates went on to play with Wesley Willis and the Wesley Willis Fiasco.
