the basic premise behind any autobiography is the notion that there is enough of a story to tell

i was thinking about that the other day. i wonder if anyone who has ever written/had someone write an autobiography has ever later on wished that they'd have waited.. due to something else life-altering and earth-shattering happening to them AFTER it's been released. i wonder if they ever think.. maybe i could make an autobiography part deux

Good luck with the writing!

Ironically, it seems like you've been scripting your life-story, poetically, lyrically, for years and years; you are as prolific as a Robert Pollard, or a Lou Barlow, yet somehow you don't seem to get the same kind of credit for being prolific.

Anyway, as a writer that interviewed you for the Austin American-Statesman years ago, and as a longtime fan...(seeing you rock for the first time circa 1991, when your old band opened for the Chili Peppers and when Pearl Jam opened for y'all in Austin, TX at a coliseum that has since been demolished, I look forward to reading.)
