The Online Billy Boyd Convention
Hello and welcome!
Have you ever wanted to attend a convention but time and expenses wouldn't let you? Have you ever been to a convention and enjoyed the cameraderie of the other fans? Are you a Billy Boyd fan? Then you might just enjoy our little community.
A few months ago I had the priveledge of participating in elijah_con_2006. I had such a wonderful time and, after thinking about it for a long time, decided to borrow (with permission) the idea and create a similar community for Billy fans.
What are we going to do here? Well -
There will be 'keynote speakers' discussing a variety of Billy-centric topics. We will also have discussion threads where we share our opinions on different Billy subjects. Fan fiction is welcome - as well as pic-spams, fan art, manips and videos. There will be a 'virtual' Beecake concert where we will discuss what songs we would love to hear Beecake perform and why. We may even have some contests - although I'll have to come up with some prizes.
All in all, it's going to be a great time for all.
I'll announce the dates for the convention in the next post, as well as the 'keynote' topics that will be up for grabs and other information.
