Haha! Work today is like a snow day at school when we were in middle school!
Everyone is late because, like, NO trains are running. Just as with snow days back in my childhood, I was still first to school (well, work today). No one's doing anything. Just 'cause. Because it's almost 11:00 and half the people STILL aren't here. So we're standing around, talking, eating the food from the meeting which was supposed to happen but didn't.
Some of the higher-ups aren't here because they drive in to the city. Fuckers. Serves them right. Who the fuck drives into the city every day?!? These are the motherfuckers making traffic so horrendous.
The rain has me in an amazing mood. It was nice waking up to what sounded like a hurricane. I took a cold shower because I felt like it. I took my big umbrella with me, which is somehow like wearing your favorite shirt. It just rules. It was amusing seeing everyone freak out on and in the subways, calling their bosses, complaining, showing signs of fatigue and despair.
This whole place has been put on hold because of a little rain.
