in this carnival of carnivals, heaven help me

An uninteresting recap of my Tuesday night.

Kickball practice in perfect weather for a couple hours. It eventually got too dark. We relocated to an apartment on Driggs. The apartment has access to a beautiful, small private rooftop with plants all over the place, candles covering almost every surface, an old school picnic table, and a grill. The candle light was so classy and perfect, I felt out of place. But as I wrapped my hands around a forty, any awkwardness was offset by my awesomeness, and calm was restored. We barbecued some burgers, drank a bunch of beers, and talked for hours. It was great; we didn't even need music to distract us.

Later, we went to meet some people at a bar. There was rock 'n roll trivia going on. We missed out on the actual trivia and caught the announcement of answers and winners. The vibe wasn't quite right, and I was the perfect amount of tipsy, so we bounced without having to waste four bucks on a beer. We got to the bus stop just as a bus was arriving. Got some sweaty action and a decent night's sleep, woke up feeling fine. Walked home, changed, got to work on time today.

But now the song from Dawson's Creek is on the light fm station at work. I swear to god this station exists for the sole purpose of trying to ruin my good days.

Still Banned,
Billy
