It seems that I am not the only person to have noticed the Batman: The Movie homage concealed in the Wallace and Gromit Christmas Special. Not that Tim Burton thing (although I have few complaints with it), but the best Batman movie ever - Batman ‘66.

Well done Nick Park for acknowledging this oft forgotten slice of awesome pie. That said, the snippet of Ghost homage has brought back memories of the watching of imported cypriot pirate videos as a child that I had happily buried until now - those flickery tracked, slur-y audioed chunks of evil have pushed me towards a love of original media that no number of unskippable accusatory pirate video warnings at the front of legally purchased DVDs ever can.
