Indelible Marks: online fan-meet

This...sounds kind of pompous to myself, but someone on AO3 had a point in saying that they wished there was somewhere to talk to other fans of my story, Indelible Marks (Teen Wolf fandom, Derek/Stiles and a Hales-Lived AU, WIP

i really enjoy this story! i read it all the way through and then subscribed to the updates (around the 17th-19th chapter maybe?) because i usually don't read WIPs; i'm always afraid that they're going to stop getting updated and never end.

what i like about "indelible marks": i like how everyone has a distinct personality, and just how extensive derek's family is. i like that there are a ton of people, and not everyone's a werewolf (just like derek said in the show), and i'm a sucker for no-hale-fire fics so i love that too. i love the kids, i love that everyone has a different job and a distinct life of their own in addition to the pack. i love love love how derek usually thinks in images and even counts in images. i love derek's grandmother; she's probably my favorite character of the extended family - her and gwen. i love that gwen has problems controlling herself, i think it's an interesting twist. and i think stiles is really endearing. (:

what i'm not exactly fond of: (this is constructive criticism!) the pacing. i love a slow build, but right now i don't understand a plot in the story, or feel that the story is working towards something, so i find myself scrolling through parts of the story. it's especially apparent, at least to me, during the hale family scenes. i think it bothers me because the first dozen chapters or so flowed so well and now that the boys are together, it's just a cluster of family drama which is great, but not for chapters on end. /: i can't really tell the time frame because the chapters run together, but it feels like the last few chapters have spanned only a couple of days which bothers me. in my opinion, the story has become too micro and not macro enough.

what i would love to see: MORE LAURA. because i love laura. more gwen, just because i want to know what the hell is going on with that and i want to see her okay because i like her. more sheriff stilinski/hale family interactions. more sketching in their book to talk, more about stiles's tattoo. and, going off my above comment about the pacing, i would love to see the story move along past what seems to be the same week. PETER TEACHING THE SHERIFF HOW TO COOK; wouldn't it be hilarious if they became close friends?!
