So I've just noticed my Twitter relaying service has fled the coop. Drat it, I like having this record. Oh well, until I find a replacement:

@ArchHallJr I feel doubly-doubly guilty. There are only about four right now, all in LA. (but just as good)

@ArchHallJr Actual traveling would be glamorous. I'm pretty much just hopping between two spots on the conveyor belt. :-)

"Bill, I ran out of razor blades so I borrowed yours. What kind is that?" "It's...European, Rob." "Guess that's why it says Mach on it."

Gone to your side a couple times with Nat without her changing outfits - she keeps getting compliments on her clothes. Retro love?

Pattern is different but this is almost identical to one of my favorite Natalie outfits. http://bit.ly/kiHBPo

They just partitioned Vietnam into North and South. The stage is set.

RT @Kennedy1961: I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before the decade is out, of landing man on the moon

Elvis has recorded his first single for Sun Records but won't be released nationally. I've just called Memphis and they're shipping me one.

They were flabbergasted at the order until I made up something about being in Memphis days before, hearing it on Dewey Phillips' radio show.

35 cents for the disc, 5 dollars for shipping. Worth it in any decade. Oh damn, maybe I should have ordered several.

Going to see Roy Brown at the Mint tonight. You're asking who? The unsung founder of rock and roll. http://youtu.be/FTNcrt-3r5U

For god's sake, why is this man not better known?

Just came out of the LA premiere of "Rear Window" at Grauman's. Hitchcock is shorter than you'd think, Stewart taller, Kelly just right.

Nat shrieked at white-coiffed blandly menacing Raymond Burr. This from a girl who watched giant realistic ravenous dinosaurs with equanimity

Would never have got in except an old poker buddy's brother is a publicist at Paramount. Woot woot

Couldn't resist softly singing "We're the Chipmunks" whenever Ross "Dave Seville" Bagdasarian was on screen.

@MadMerryMeg Dusty Springfield, ELO, Sam Cooke, Heart, Creedence, Adele or some Party Ben mashups!

@MadMerryMeg I rather like "Someone Like You", "Set Fire to the Rain", "Chasing Pavements" and the smoky loungy "Lovesong" cover
