So, I'm not dead. Really. School has failed to kill me yet again. I win.
I finally got the money I was expecting, and after paying some bills I set aside some spending money. Other than a few bits of clothing (mostly clearance items, because I am cheap. Long live Value Village) and some obligitory food-type things, my major purchases over the past couple of days have been:
1.My Chemical Romance's Life on the Murder Scene (Finally! Sorry to those that had to listen to me bitch and moan this past month about not being able to afford it.)
2.Panic! At the Disco's A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
3.Saves the Day's Sound the Alarm
4.The re-release of Fall Out Boy's From Under the Cork Tree (Yes, I already had the original release. Shut up.)
Why yes, I am a music whore. How kind of you to notice.
So, a couple of these were picked up during this afternoon's shopping excursion. I always have music on while shopping, because it helps me deal with being in a mall. The easiest way to do it is to just set my discman to repeat all and cram it in a coat pocket, if I'm wearing one that has big enough pockets. This means both my hands are free, and I don't have to worry about struggling out of my backpack to change discs all the time.
It also means that I listened to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge in its entirety about 5 times in a row, all told. I'M NOT OK.
And then the batteries died. At that point, though, I think that may have been a good thing.....I also think the whole album is still going to be playing in my head while I sleep. Or at least attempt to sleep.
