my engagement!
You got it dude, I'm engaged!!!
Okay, so if you're interested, here's how it went. Randy wanted to go to this park we had gone to on our third date.. the first time we really kissed (other than a little peck on our second date).
We wandered around the trails, then walked down the boardwalk that we had first kissed in. We kissed a bit, we're good at that.. and he said, you know what's special about this place? (no).."It's the first place I put my arms around you". (he's fumbling in his pocket at this point). "You know what else is special about it?" (no). "It's where I asked you to marry me. (gets down on one knee) Will you marry me?".
Pause here, "YES".. I almsot cried.. he says we were both shaking at this point. He asked if he can put the ring on my finger.. of course! it fits perfectly. We act all silly and gaga a bit and talk about all sorts of sweetness... he tells me that it's my grandma's ring, my dad gave it to him! Isn't that great! So glad my parents are supportive... wow... so stunned, still!
