The Original Pancake House is NOT THAT GOOD.
I don't know why people flock there when the only thing they consistently get right is the pancakes themselves.
-They charge $2.00 a drink, whether you get three glasses of Coke or one cup of coffee.
-They are ineffably slow in service, even when they are not busy.
-They keep getting orders wrong, nearly every time I go.
-The eggs are greezy. Not greasy, GREEZZY. I think they boil them in a deep fat fryer.
-Grits are not supposed to be watery. IT AIN'T CORN SOUP.
-After all these years in operation, they still don't accommodate for weekend rushes.
-Really, that "mushroom sherry" sauce they put on half their dishes? It's NASTY. It's about as appetizing as cat sick.
-And their iced tea tastes like it was poured from a rusty pipe. THIS IS A CARDINAL SIN IN THE SOUTH.
I ain't eatin' there ever again. Yuck.
