What, this old thing?

Danielle's clutch went out. No, not the clutch, the whole damned clutch system. $1100. But at least they fixed it in two days as promised, and she says it shifts much easier than it used to now.

Work is settling in. Big changes there, but nothing directly affecting me. Hope it works out good for us managers.

Kitties... well, they're kitties. They like sleepin' in the kitty tree we got them. They'se cute.

This is what's really going to eat up time. Here's what the Big Idea entails:
-Get a house. Not just rent, but buy.
-Get two, maybe three friends together as renters/roommates
-Danielle goes back to school for her degree.
-I keep working, but also continue looking for a better job.

We talked these things out a good bit. We have it all planned, the hard part would be getting it in motion. We could get the house, and mortgage payments would take place of our usual rent at an apartment. Having the friends move in and pay some rent would help ease that stress and pay bills. This part isn't much of a problem, as Tim is already living with us, and Robin practically does, too. If we could get Jay in on it, then we could count on $450 to $600 extra in rent, depending on what they could pay us. I should be due for a raise this summer, but I'm brushing up on my software skillz, and if/when there's an opportunity here for better employment, I can jump ship. Between the lot of this, and federal aid, Danielle could go back to school and get a business degree.

So, yeah... this is going to take a lot of work, and a lot of treading on new territories. It ought to be fun!

Oh, and pictures coming soon.
