Suggestion time

So I have the new machine. I've loaded a lot games and a little software on it. But I'm unfamiliar with the world of next-gen computers, and also, I've really fallen behind on my software knowledge. I've discovered that a lot of the things I used to keep on my harddrive are now either redundant, incompatible, or simply without use ( Read more... )

Look for TweakUI. It has a lot of the things it used to have and more. It's under microsoft, now, though. Found under the powertoys site ( ... )

By the way, if you get a hankering for some online gaming, let me know. I have Doom 3 and the expansion, Diablo II (of course), Neverwinter Nights (and all expansions, though it doesn't work right for some reason), Half-Lives I and II, all kinds of Command and Conquer goodness, Total Annihilation, and, of course, World of Warcraft.

I can't think of what else I might have...

I forgot to mention that for talk while gaming you can get Ventrilo. It's a free download and we use it for WoW raids and such. Really helpful. We had a couple use a room on the server for their phone calls, it's so cool.

Oh! And Warcrafts II and III.

Since we have two computers we might be able to talk Jodi into a game of something. ;)
