(no subject)
So...nothing much happening.
Im currently looking for a new apartment for next year. I have hired a real estate agent, Katy Cofiell to handle the apartment search. So far, she has done well. She found this place in Cranston, Garden Village. So, i decided to check it out. I went out there on Thursday before work and took a look at it. The lady, Heather was nicer than can be. She was able to answer all of my questions right up front and didnt sugar coat anything. Ultimately...its a little more for what I was looking for, but it might be a good investment. The 1-bed is perfect size for me and will work out excellently. I talked to the mother about it...she approved...i just need to speak with The Mike. I need him to cosign the lease...he makes WAY more than my mom. It's in a safe neighborhood and I can use the facilities at the neighboring community.
I also feel that this is going to be a good life lesson. I will learn how to truely BUDGET my money, right down to the penny. A good reality check.
I also realized that I am lucky with what has been given to me. My family was wise and invested in savings bonds for me. For each birthday and holiday...each family member would give me a savings bond as gift...something that i thought was HORRIBLE! Well, I was just checking the status of those, and the figures are more than DOUBLED! Although I currently have them locked away and out of my reach...I realize that I have a base laid just incase anything was to happen...
Well, bad news is...the Cav is going in for some work. The Engine Light came on yesterday after work. So, Im skipping class in the morning to bring my car to the dealership to get looked at. Thank god for warranties!
