Let me say I love the Ritz-Carlton!!!!
Saturday was the day I have been waiting for! Saturday was Ritz Day. It was everything that I would imagine. OK, we got there at about 11ish and our room wasn't quite ready, which is understandable coming from the industry. So, the Front Desk Manager said he would personally call me when the room was ready and took my cell phone number...
While waiting, we did the Newbury Street thing and then walked around and did the touristy thing. I played tour guide, as I know Boston like the back of my hand. It was Ang's first time and I think she had a good time. We ate at Fanuel Hall and walked more and took the T back to the Ritz, where our room was ready.
Let me just say that this room was amazing! It was fucking HUGE! Although a poor view, it was excellent. The most comfortable beds ever, the bathroom was huge, the area was huge....just nice! The bellman brought our bags to the room and offered to get us Ice and EXTRA towels and Bathrobes...without us asking. Talk about service. Later, the turndown attendant came around and brought us even more towels and turned down our beds and left us chocolates. Let me just saw, I currently have a new towel set! Everything was just perfect. Altough a particular person kept kicking me and pushing me while hogging the entire FEATHER Mattress pad...I'll let it go this time!
The service at the property was just amazing. It is truely what's expected from a Ritz-Carlton. I would definately return and WELL WORTH my $99.00...gotta love being a Marriott Associate! Sadly, I forgot my camera...so I'll just have to back up there and get some pictures.
