I will be presenting tomorrow evening for the Black Rose on the subject that is near and dear to my heart Japanese rope bondage. I'm excited about the class as I now have the luxury of a wonderful digital camera so I have created an informative handout that has photos and instructions for the ties I will be presenting tomorrow. I've wanted to do this for years and now I can and this will give a reference point for people that wish to try tying their partners later. The techniques are quite simple. If you can tie your shoes you can learn Japanese rope bondage. In all of this, I also found my wife Amy is a wonderful photographer and Jana makes a great model. So for those of you that are interested here's a quick synopsis of the class:

Bill Andrews shares his many passions...from nawa shibari (Japanese rope bondage) to tactile and ritual play, from singletails and long whips to canes...realizing that the best way to strengthen the community is to share his knowledge and expertise. Bill has a unique style that combines the grace and power of martial arts with the spirituality of healing energy, and the beauty of visual artistry. He is an active member of the leather community and has had the honor of presenting for several organizations. Bill's partner/rope demo, Jana, is a sensually masochistic bottom/ submissive. She has been active in the public scene for six years (the first four in Austin as a member of GWNN and the last two in the DC area as a member of Black Rose). While Japanese rope bondage is relatively new to Jana's repertoire (having only been introduced to it when she met Bill six months ago), she has taken to it like a fish to water. Jana truly delights in modeling for Bill's intricate and beautifully aesthetic Japanese rope bondage techniques.
