Today in the Western Christian Church is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Passiontide. On this day, Christians remember Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, riding an ass, or a colt, or both a colt and an ass, depending on which Gospel you read. This week, Christians will remember Jesus's last meal, his betrayal at the hands of a trusted friend,

The more one thinks about this, the more twisted it gets. Within the myth, Jesus had to have been born as the Sacrifice -- it makes no sense if his sudden end was just a mistake. With that in mind, the entire dumbshow was all preordained, including the betrayal of (not by) Judas. A gambit is the sacrifice of a pawn, and Judas was Jesus's opening gambit.

Veiled in flesh the Godhead see

Able, momentarily, perhaps, to feel human pain, human despair, but still divine. Everything is wiped away and repaired. For that matter, it takes two or three days to die on a cross -- He lasted a few hours. First to last, the fix was in.

(On the other hand, perhaps he rode in with one foot on an ass and one foot on a colt, quite possibly twirling a lasoo. The whole week was all curcus to begin with...)
