so fucking i have been listening to neil young in my car exclusively for weeks now and i have made a very important realization. as you probably know, neil's backing band is called crazy horse. and most of crazy horse came from a late 60s l.a. band called the rockets. and you may also know a couple things about my bass rig. quick review. head is a 1969 sunn 2000s. cabinet is a sunn of unknown year, but approximately same age, possibly older judging from the logo. ok, this is where it gets good. the cabinet has the word "ROCKETS" stenciled in white lettering on its side. and i just got the connection. holy fucking shit. my bass cabinet used to be used by billy talbot of the rockets/crazy horse.
yesterday was a terrible day, but today has been amazing so far. yesterday my car died on the way to houston, causing me to not take a shower or do laundry or hang out or go to louisiana to go gambling. then when i got the thing back home, i found out my grandpa died that morning. but today, today i found out that i play bass for neil young. damn, dude.
