Another drabble. I really love writing these even though i can never seem to meet the 100 words requirement. is that bad? haha. I can't help it though, I'm just too wordy.

Rating: PG-13 or R (I'm not really sure which one. I think its PG-13 brushing against R)

LOL That's great. I should probably explain further about the challenges -- it just got to include the challenge item/word/concept. The suggestions I give out are just that -- suggestions or jumping off points. This one is perfect for the Earring challenge! :)

aw thanks. yeah, i've had this iea for a while but i wasn't sure if i should write it because i thought there were requirements. i love Bill/Tonks and its all thanks to you. haha i'm good and addicted now.

Excellent! There is a Bill/Tonks community called thegingersnap but it's very very quiet. I think we need to take it over! :)

it IS quiet. we should take over.. somehow, great suggestion. i need to go look around and recruit people to all the Bill/Tonks goodness. this ship is underappreciated. are you a mod on Thegingersnap? *thinks* we need to think of methods to get people tuned into Bill/Tonks. haha, i'm starting to sound obsessed.

I'm not a mod, just a participant over there but it's been very quiet for weeks and weeks. I know simplyblah (I think that's her SN) was going to write a ship manifesto but I dont know what happened with that.

I've been slowly but surely corrupting people with the concept of Bonks -- it just seems so right to me (which is why come Half-Blood Prince, Bill will probably be happily married off to Fleur *gag*). I am obsessed but I try not to be too obnoxious about it -- esp. with so many Tonks/Remus and Bill/whoever fans about. :)

Bonks is so right. Like the age (I'm sorry, but Tonks/Remus?), the temperaments, the location. its just RIGHT. before i discovered Bonks, Bill/Fleur seemed okay to me, but now i'm not anticipating them in the sixth book either. *crosses fingers* maybe fleur will be evil or something? haha. we can only hope.

Hee I'm not going to start dissing Tonks/Remus because I know too many fans of that ship and besides, everyone sees ships their own way. Only time will tell. I am with you though and I have my theories about Tonks fancying Bill which is why she's so clumsy whenever he's around.

I don't know of anyone who likes Fleur to be honest (other than Bill, apparently!). I think that JKR is going for the whole "well, she's really a good person, she just came off badly at the beginning" but I just think she couldn't change that much and would be bitching and moaning about his family and his job and everything very soon and making him crazy. She's not a member of the Order, she didn't go to see Arthur at St. Mungo's, she never seemed to be a part of things despite the fact that they're dating. Doesn't seem very serious to me.

can you imagine what will happen in the sixth book if some ships are ruined? think of the horror. oh man if fleur ends up with Bill in the sixth book, i'll seriously start to doubt what JKR is thinking. i agree with you that if they do date, though, it won't end up being serious, but i'll still be horrified that they're dating and that its actually, straight out mentioned in the book.

i can't think of anyone who likes Fleur either. Honestly, i think the only person who can work with Bill, if not Tonks, is Hermione. Definitely not Fleur. haha, and listen to me, talking as if they're real people. well they are.. in my head. *grins* heh.

Well, Fred and George told Harry that Bill was dating Fleur in the beginning of OoTP but that's the last we heard of her. That she was at Gringott's and Bill was giving her "private lessons in English" wink wink nudge nudge. I know there are people who are hoping for a Weasley wedding at the beginning of HBP since JKR said Harry will leave the Dursleys pretty early for something "pleasant" but I can't see a 16 yr old boy finding a wedding that exciting. Besides, it would be really weird if someone who was not that involved with the Weasleys or the Order for an entire year suddenly married into the family. Just my own thoughts ( ... )

i forgot about that. notice, though, how fred and george don't regard Bill and Fleur's relationship as serious. more of a casual how Bill's got a hot girl than a serious-i'm-in-it-for-personality kind of relationship. And i agree it can't be their wedding that Harry finds interesting. so *crosses fingers* it can't be that ( ... )

Yeah, they did pretty much downplay it and joke around i.e "Ooooh he's giving her private lessons, wink wink nudge nudge". And like I've said to other people, she did not show up in OoTP at all, not even to visit Arthur in the hospital and if she was that serious with him (or vice versa) she ought to have been there in some capacity even if she wasn't told what happened ( ... )
