Forgive and Forget?
Went out to the cottage this Sunday and got the oppurtunity to talk to Val for really the first time... had many interesting conversations w/her. Among them....
Val: Amy is out here with her girlfriend again. Amy is okay by herself, but when she brings her girlfriend around she gets all weird and like, "oh hee hee hee." And they're all pregnant. There's four girls that are couples and two of them are pregnant.
Me: How do they decide which one has the baby?
Val: Probably the one that is more feminine. The one who doesn't walk like this (begins walking like a gorilla.) I don't understand what it is with softball players. They're all gay. We met a girl up in Charlevoix who reminded us of you. She was petite, like you. (That's when I decided that Val was pretty cool ;-)) But she was playing softball for Purdue! I thought you had to be butch to be good at softball!
Also hung out w/Kyle (Val's son) for a bit; we picked some wildflowers and talked; it was a good time. He's a good kid, and I hope he's doing okay w/the whole Julie situation. Big thank you to Drew b/c if he wouldn't have been such a jerk I probably would have never talked to Kyle, and now he's a pretty close friend. Much love to Mamie; I hope we go wakeboarding tomorrow w/Josh and Ben, and I hope your heart is doing okay. I love you to death girl! Mwah!
