Went out & about town today.. its been GORGEOUS weather here so I thought I'd take some pics!! So are you ready to behold the GREATNESS that is Chattanooga? /sarcasm
ok.. started off with lunch at this place on Market Street.. a few pics from where we sat:
The Tennessee Aquarium:
downtown chatt.. parts around the aquarium that has really grown in the past few years:

Me after a few Level 5 Hurricanes.. lol (read: MUCHO liquor! )
And the obligatory Geek pic with glasses on:
Next a walk on the Walnut St Bridge - they were gonna tear it down a few years ago since it was essentially a no longer used railroad track bridge, but instead they converted into a walking bridge.. its really cool on a day like today:
Various pics taken from the bridge.. first MacClellan Island, a bird sanctuary, and rumored to be the burial place of alot of civil war soldiers, so naturally its said to be haunted :p
now the Hunter Museum of Art.. was once an antebellum mansion donated by the family, recently added on to:
(keep your eye on the red dot :p )
I just ADORE antebellum architechture.. remnants of a more genteel era (in some respects anyway)
The Stairs leading down to the river (also just makes a cool pic i thought :p )
The Market Street Bridge.. i love this bridge :D
Sculptures:
I always find the juxtaposition of man made art against a naure rich background interesting for some reason:
who knew you could do so much with driftwood!!
had to take this one.. ahh young love.. AWWWWWWWW:
so next we venture to Riverpark.. a REALLY long walkway down the Tennessee River with a park & such:

oh i forgot about the red dot!! hahahahaa.. ok so being the royal smart person that I am, I decide to sit on the railing at the museum:
i dropped my glasses from that platform & they fell ALL th eway down the hill!! I had to jump the fence & hike down to get em back!!
hahahhaa... but it was a BEAUTIFUL day and I had a good time for the most part..
