so yeah.. it has been a while since my last "real" post.. so i guess i will tell about what has been going on and what is planned for the immediate future..
first, today i had the biggest surprise of my life.. it was so weird.. after telling us yesterday that we could come in to get our grades for the semester during class today, my tech writing prof DIDN'T SHOW UP!! surprise surprise surprise.. i thought i was going to wet my pants from the shock.. so anyway.. now that i am through being sarcastic.. my prof has only missed 9 or 10 class periods this semester.. and most of them were unexpected.. for instance, two weeks ago we had a MAJOR (i.e. 25% of our semester grade) projet due.. so i worked my tail end off preparing, and we all show up and he decides not to come to class.. ugh.. that man.. he better give me an a..
in less than 2 weeks i turn 21.. i feel so old.. if anybody wants to get me something, that would be great.. ;) lol.. so anyway.. megan already gave me her gift, the aladdin dvd.. (which is an amazing gift.. i have watched it everyday since she gave it to me.. :) )
this friday starts finals.. i have linear algebra and differential equations on friday, language of film next tuesday, and finally advanced cal 1 on next wed... diff eq i need an 83% to get an a in the class, linear i need an 'a' on the test, film a 92%, and in cal i need a 106.. lol.. so yeah.. i am hoping for all a's except for cal.. and a b in cal would be ok with me..
last monday in film we watched "bram stoker's dracula" it was actually a decent movie (but definitely not a movie for kids..).. i thought it was cool how the entire movie was based on the fact that Jesus is the savior.
so yeah.. today was the last day of classes.. in cal we had a review.. and of course.. we made it through almost one problem.. and in the end, even i didn't know what he had done.. grr... that man.. ugh..
ok and lastly before i head off to bed.. paul.. check out www.retrojunk.com .. hehe.. and anyone else who wants to.. it has a lot of old intros to tv shows, and commercials etc..
