sometimes, late night drives throw the whole world into new perspective. and you start to notice things that never caught your eye before. wind blows through a deserted playground and if you listen just right you can hear the laughter of years gone by. the old movie theater on first street with broken glass windows and torn down doors; you can smell the popcorn as if the movies ended last night instead of ten years ago. look close enough and the tips of leaves turn orange in harvest moonlight. it's things like these that make the days okay and the nights phenomenal. it's things like these that keep people like me from falling into the sky.
i guess it takes a few days before the tragedy sets in.
