I wish that since TPTB aren't going to make Troy and Abed date they'd stop joking about them dating or acting like boyfriend and girlfriend. Especially when it's Troy's girlfriend who's saying it, or when they're being put in romantic roles as a joke in a way that would not be seen as a joke if one of them were female. Like "HAHA!! Imagine those characters being gay!!!" even though they've been practically dating for the entire show and it would not be at all surprising if they were, and some viewers really want them to. Now they're just using it as a joke and that's really upsetting to me. I get it if you can't have a gay relationship or want to change the dynamic of their relationship but you don't need to laugh about how funny it is to think about them being gay. Like whatever, I've accepted they aren't going to be canon and are apparently going to date other people, just stop rubbing it in.
