It's been about 10 days since I saw the allergist who told gave me a laundry list of food I'm suppose to be allergic to and I have been trying to watch what I eat.
So the after seeing the doctor I went to Rainbow Grocery and bought a bunch of stuff to try, right off the top vegan cheese is horrible to eat... A lot of the gluten free food is really good, I've found breads, pastas and cake that taste amazing, but the cookies and cakes are extremely sweet. Dairy is a tough one for me because I drink milk and eat cheese almost everyday. I've been using almond milk in my coffee and tea but not in my shakes and that is a good 16oz. a day, and my late night snack of a grilled cheese has been replace toast with fake butter and jam. Kevin mentioned how nice it was since I stopped eating cheese before I went to bed.
I haven't stopped eating all dairy or breads but I am substituting if I go out and eat I order whatever I want but that will be cheat for the day.
To be honest I'm not convinced that I'm allergic to everything that was on the allergist's list, beef and poultry I eat daily and unless I go into anaphylactic shock I'm not going to stop eating them. I am armed with EpiPens just in case though.
