Spain and Portugal

manintheboat and I went to Spain and Portugal. I took pictures. There were other things there than bikes... but not much that was important.

So here's what I saw.

Bike with a child carrier that was being used instead of a seat.

Why is Lisbon scary? I've never been to Portugal myself.

A *lot* of homeless people and significantly more aggressive panhandling than we experienced in Spain (or I've experienced most places in the US.)

Love the white walls on that Orbea.

I wish I'd taken more pictures of some of the low-end bikes there. Everyone was riding these whitewall balloon-tire Decathalon bikes with step-through frames.

That old olive-colored Orbea is co cool.

Both of them -- the yellow no-name behind it was also lovely. So many cargo-type bikes.
